Certificate Definitions from 1st January 2011

RECs (Renewable Energy Certificates) created from 2001 to end 2010 will be classified as LGCs (Large-scale Generation Certificates)
Certificates created for solar water and small generation units such as PV, installed before but created on or after 1 January 2011 will be classified as LGCs. In this case certificates must be created within 12 months of installation
Certificates for solar water and small generation units such as PV, installed after 1 January 2011 will be classified as STCs (Small-scale Technology Certificates)
